Before I interviewed the Buddhist monk Taka Kawakami one of the things he said in his introduction to meditation was that in life it is as if we look at the world through a pinhole - we see only a tiny part of what is, and must always keep this in mind when making our judgements and forming our conclusions. Maria Popova’s quote illustrates this nicely.
